A Fine Meal Special, Limited Releases and Holiday Hours
We have a fantastic dinner special for this Friday, December 3rd, starting at 5 PM. And, when the brewery opens for business today, we’re putting a few vintage bottles on sale just in time for your Christmas shopping pleasure.
The Friday special will be Pan Seared Fillet Medallion topped with Herb Butter and will be served with Potato Herb Galette and Baked Parmesan Zucchini all for $13.95. We’ll also have a special soup: Lobster and Shrimp Bisque for $5.95 or, when ordered with the entrée, for $3.95. We’ll have the special going for as long as the supply lasts.
And it only gets better from here!
The beer paired with the dinner special will be Cask Ugly. This is the only cask of this beer and should be delicious squared. Its going on at 5 PM and probably won’t last the night.
We’re pairing Jacobs Creek 2006 Reserve Shiraz with the dinner special, $5 a glass and $15 for a whole bottle. Jacob’s Creek winery is in the Barossa Valley, Australia and produces several outstanding wines. The critics indicate this wine is now at its best and will be for the next 5 years.
This is the only place this information is being released. Your reward for reading this post.
Starting today, at noon, we are putting up for sale, 4 cases each of “Ned” and “Great.” “Ned” is our wine barrel aged Flanders Red ale in a 22 oz. bottle and will be $9.99 each, limit of 4 per person per day. “Great” is our Kentucky Bourbon barrel aged barleywine in a 12 oz. bottle for $9.99, limit of 4 per person per day. These are rare beers and should sell out fast, don’t wait or you’ll miss them.
Our Christmas and New Years hours are set. We’re closing the pub early on Christmas Eve, December 24th. We’ll have the brewery open until 6 PM and the pub until 8 PM. We’ll be closed Christmas day, December 25th.
We’ll be open normal hours on New Year’s Eve. We will have a Prime Rib dinner special for that Friday and will have a signup sheet for those that know they will be coming for the New Year’s celebration. In order to have enough Prime Rib and to staff the pub appropriately, we really want those interested in attending to sign up as soon as possible, please.
We are closed on Saturday, New Year’s day, January 1st and will re-open again on Sunday, January 2nd.
