Modified Hours at Alpine Beer Company
Due to scheduling conflicts, on Saturday May 5th, we are closing the brewery at 5 pm. Please come early as our staff will be gone after 5 pm. The pub will remain open normal hours, 11 am to Midnight, but will not be able to fill growlers. Very limited bottle sales available in the pub, two bottle limits and the supply is very small.
Our staff works very hard for us and to show our appreciation we are taking a few of them to the World Beer Cup Gala Awards Dinner. Thank you all, staff, but we can’t take all of you.
We have a stellar lineup right now. Here are most of what’s on tap right now: Alpine Ale, Duet, Nelson, Ugly, Pure Hoppiness, Hoppy Birthday, Gouden Vallei, Chez Monieux, Exponential Hoppiness, Captain Stout, McIlhenney’s Irish Red, Mandarin Nectar, Willy and Willy Vanilly. And looking ahead, we will have “New Millenium Pale Ale” very soon and the ever popular “Bad Boy,” our other double IPA, ready in about 3 weeks.
To see the awards ceremony “live” go to http://www.justin.tv/brewingnetwork Saturday night at 8 pm PST to see who claims the most pizza boxes (awards in a box) and wins the Brewery and Brewpub of the year awards.
The San Diego County Supervisors proclaimed the week of May 1st “World Beer Cup Week” throughout the county. Good job supervisors.
We’re still under siege in Alpine with the street destruction project. That is why we are still taking a subdued approach at inviting you to our poor assaulted town. But, we got some of our parking back so access is easier again.
Stay safe, don’t drink and drive, you might spill. Look for some of the many beer related events going on this weekend because the “Olympics of Beer” is happening!
